Light Electric Bikes

Electric bikes are also part of the light electric vehicle (LEVs) category used for local transport. They are manufactured to only accommodate one person and can carry a small cargo. They are not expensive and have a good speed, unlike scooters which are very slow and need a lot of energy. The motorbikes are very noisy unlike the electric bikes which are quite, efficient and clean. There are many advantages about the LEVs compared to the motorbike and the scooters.

Electric bikes are very effective when climbing a hill making it one feel like they are climbing a flat surface. It has an increased speed when one is climbing hills and does away with the gradient factor that one view. An electric bike can manage to go up the hill in 10% at a scale of 1 to 10 with ease at a maximum gradient of 80%. The scooter will cannot handle hills and the motorbike is not fast enough when climbing the hills even in the countryside where the electric bike makes the effect to be miraculous.

Electric bikes are safer than a scooter since the speed is high. The faster one is able to accelerate the safer one is and out of danger. With a scooter the fact that it is very slow makes it more dangerous to pass cars that are at a higher speed. When going down the hill the temptation to move at a neck breaking speed is less likely especially if one can pass cars at a hill. A motorbike is very expensive compared to the electric bike which has favorable prices. The motorized wear and tear the same and it uses electricity which is very cheap compared to fuel. The only expense that may be a little bit on the high side is the battery. The only comparison between the electric bikes in terms of cost is the unassisted bike. Therefore an electric bike can save a lot of money compared to the motorbike.

A conventional bike is defiantly fitter than an electric bike but the electric bike is used more than the conventional bike and this contributes to building personal fitness. 81% of the people use electric bikes once a week compared to the conventional bike which is used once in a fortnight. This means that the electric bike is used twice as much as a conventional bike. A motorbike and scooter do not apply any energy and will probably end up making one gain weight. It is also more enjoyable to use an electric bike in the hilly countryside as compared to a scooter or motorbike which will wear out in no time. It may be healthy to lose some sweat when one is on leisure but, when going to work it may be embarrassing. Other advantages are that it is neat green and clean in that it does not increase or affect global warming. It is safer and more convenient to use an electric bike than a scooter or motorbike.
