Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Adds Edyne Vehicles to Fleet
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) recently made a stand towards improving the environment by adding three fully electric trucks and one fully electric van to their fleet. Going beyond the call of duty, this bureau has sought to act as an example to other people in the future who may not be running with such eco friendly vehicles. With the Edyne name backing up the vehicles that were purchased, there is no question that the electric vehicles are going to last for a long time. Here is a look at just what the BLM picked up.
The Edyne electric trucks and vans that the BLM uses were developed by a company called GreenGo Tek (GGT Electric). GGT has been a long lasting name in electric truck technology, and they are the ones responsible for creating numerous vehicles that parks across the nation are using. The vehicles they make are made with the highest quality standards, and they are repetitively tested to ensure that they run efficiently. GGT focuses on delivering good electric vehicles at prices people can actually afford. The BLM is now the proud owners of a few of these vehicles.
Electric vehicles are the wave of the eco friendly future. They require no gas to run, and they are incredibly low maintenance as a whole. By using some of these vehicles in their fleet, the Bureau of Land Management is making a statement about minimizing the human footprint on this earth. While the significance of this transaction may not seem that important, it could very well lead to a slew of other electric vehicle purchases for other companies in the air. This will mean a drastic reduction in pollution for the area and an increase in efficiency. Hopefully that theory would spread worldwide.
The BLM seems plenty satisfied with their new electric additions nowadays, and they show signs of needing more in the future. The utility vehicles do what they need to help the land management crews out, and the whole set works well for getting materials where they need to go. The BLM is so elated by the purchase that they plan to eventually replace their entire fleet with electric trucks if the opportunity presents itself. For now though, the newest members of the crew are doing their share to help the BLM and protect the environment at the same time.
